Description

RHODUNA® PT ONE – Unique

RHODUNA® PT ONE is a unique product in our portfolio in several ways. Like the standard RHODUNA® PT version, the ONE version is an economical alternative to pure rhodium. However, RHODUNA® PT ONE is designed for small-scale applications, with the metal content reduced to one gram per liter. This enables highly cost-efficient rhodium plating from the very first liter of solution while maintaining almost unchanged coating properties. In addition, the product offers easy handling thanks to a controllable operating range and the number of required components being reduced to an absolute minimum. Apart from the initial concentrate, only water is required to prepare the solution.

The RHODUNA® PT ONE coating consists of 20% rhodium and 80% platinum. However, even experienced users may find it difficult to distinguish this high-quality alloy coating from a coating produced from pure rhodium electrolyte. Thanks to the high value of platinum, your products also gain higher perceived value and greater market price acceptance. In contrast, for manufacturers, coatings produced with RHODUNA® PT ONE are much more cost-attractive than pure rhodium coatings.
