AURUNA® 5400 Hard Gold Electrolyte

Plating solution for uniform bright deposits.

AURUNA® 5400 is a weakly acidic plating solution that produces hard gold deposits with a yellow color, high brightness, and excellent uniformity. The newly optimized brightener system allows operation over a very wide current density range while offering flexible adjustment of the gold content.

Thanks to the use of special chemical components, AURUNA® 5400 is suitable for both rack plating and barrel plating.

The resulting deposit has low porosity and higher wear resistance compared with deposits from AURUNA® 539. In addition, contact parts plated with AURUNA® 5400 provide low contact resistance, long-term stable contact resistance, and excellent solderability. The solution also enables thick gold deposits up to 10 μm without cracking.
