PLATINODE® Beakerglass Anodes

Anodes for plating in laboratory beakers.

Umicore anodes are available for beakers with capacities of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and 5.0 liters. Special requirements for size and shape can also be accommodated.

Experience from Umicore Electroplating shows that approximately 90% of precious metal plating trials in laboratories are carried out in standard beakers. Umicore provides an optimized anode solution for sample plating or small-batch plating.

Anodes for beakers can be platinum-plated or coated with mixed metal oxide (MMO). The selection of coating type, coating thickness, and coating weight depends on the specific application. The anodes are equipped with replaceable segments mounted on a holder, which can be easily replaced, allowing the holder to be reused multiple times.
