The FR 100 ovens are designed and built for the hardening and annealing heat treatments of alloy and precious metal objects in the processing of medium or small industries.
The oven chamber is made of steel with a gas-tight refractory lining. In the oven, ammonia can be introduced (version with dissociator) which prevents oxidation or decarburization for treatment in a protected environment. The oven mouth opens automatically when the oven is almost completely overturned (minimum distance between the oven mouth and the cooling tank). The material falls by gravity into the tank and during the fall, the protective gases (where provided) exit the chamber, forming an inert hood against oxidation, reducing contact with the air and therefore the oxidation of the treated pieces. The pieces removed from the cooling bath
they are unaltered and therefore do not require subsequent cleaning operations.
Oven features:
– solid metal carpentry base on which the oven and the cooling tank rest
– manual tipping electric oven, pneumatic tipping system (optional)
– 180 liter capacity extinguishing tank and basket for collecting pieces
– electrical command and control panel
– automatic temperature regulation control device
Dissociator features (optional):
– ammonia dissociator for the production of the protective atmosphere.
– lightweight, robust catalyst with multiple metal elements mounted on a ceramic support
– minimal residue of non-dissociated ammonia
– preheating of the ammonia by recovering the heat of the exit gas
