Strip rolling mills and wire crushers with reels

Use: the LSF 120×40 wire crushing rolling mills are particularly suitable for work in the craft and industrial sectors (continuous and discontinuous production)

Type : the configuration is of the wire crushing type with high precision.

Processing : the main application is the production of rectangular strips from round wire.

Structure: the rolling mill structure is a load-bearing frame in sturdy electro-welded metal carpentry with double-layer oven painting. The roller castle uprights are made of solid steel.

Rolling rollers: the rollers are made of special tempered and ground steel with surface hardness = 64 HRC with internal water cooling via rotary joints. On request it is possible to supply rollers with Widia® ring.

Roller bearings: the bearings, mounted on movable guides, are high-resistance bronze sliding bearings with automatic forced closed-circuit lubrication with oil recovery and water cooling circuit.

Roller adjustment: the rollers are closed and opened manually with adjustment screws and a control handwheel with opening reading via a mechanical counter.

Transmission to the rollers: the motion of the rollers occurs through homokinetic mechanical cross joints controlled by a steel gear splitter with helical teeth and oil bath lubrication. Transmission from the gearmotor to the splitter occurs via a chain.

Control: The rolling mills are driven by an electric motor with variable speed via an electronic vector inverter. An electric control panel is provided that includes all the operating devices.

Aspi: the rolling mills are equipped with a horizontal motorized winder (with adjustable translation and tension) and a vertical idle unwinder for wire.

Protections: accident prevention protection devices are provided (in compliance with current and international standards – CE marking) including: mechanical anti-intrusion covers for moving parts, emergency stop button.

Optional accessories : the rolling mills can be equipped with a spray wire lubrication system; linear counter for rolled wire; felt bars for roller cleaning.
