Rough rolling mills for plate and strip

Application : The LS 200 and 250 series rolling mills are particularly suitable for industrial applications (continuous and discontinuous production).

Type : the configuration is of the plate roughing type. There are *Standard versions, automatic “A°” versions and fast automatic versions

Processing: the main application is plate roughing + finishing.

Structure: the rolling mill structure is of the rigid monoblock type obtained from cast iron with double layer oven painting. The cylinder castle uprights are made of cast steel.

Rolling rolls: The rolls are made of special alloyed or ground steel with surface hardness = 64 HRC. On request, it is possible to supply rolls with mirror polished surface; hard chrome plated surface; with internal water cooling via rotary joints.

Cylinder bearings: The bearings, mounted on mobile guides, are high-resistance bronze sliding bearings (Standard versions), full-complement roller bearings (Fast versions), both with forced lubrication.

Cylinder adjustment: The cylinders are closed and opened manually with a flywheel (Standard versions) and automatically with a motorised display and programmer for the height and sequence of steps (Automatic and Fast Automatic versions).

Transmission to the cylinders : the motion to the cylinders occurs via homokinetic mechanical cross joints.

Gear reducer: The rolling mills have a helical steel gear reducer with oil bath lubrication. The transmission of motion from the electric motor to the reducer occurs with V-belts and flywheel.

Control: The rolling mills are driven by an electric motor with fixed speed (Standard versions) and variable speed control via electronic vector inverter (Automatic and Automatic Fast versions). An electric control panel is provided which includes all the maneuvering and control devices.

Aspi: the versions with aspi are called LNR 200 and 250 (see page 24)

Protections: accident prevention protection devices are provided (in compliance with current and international standards – CE marking) including: mechanical anti-intrusion grids for cylinders, pneumatic barriers for emergency stops.

Optional accessories: the rolling mills can be equipped with: electric water pump for cooling cylinders and bushings; felt bars for cleaning cylinders
