GAS ATOMIZATION PLANT FOR METAL ALLOYS – ATOM

The special geometry of the nozzle allows a constant production of high quality spherical metal powder , with controllable dimensions from 10 to 100 microns . All our melting furnaces are equipped with special induction coils , powered by generators completely designed and manufactured within our company, with powers from 5 to 20 kW.

The melting process can take place in air or in a controlled atmosphere , as well as under vacuum or at normal atmospheric pressure , thus allowing a wide range of atomizable metals , including low-melting or easily oxidizable ones . The chemical composition and homogeneity of the alloys are perfectly guaranteed through the use of low-medium frequency generators, while the use of inert gas inside the upper chamber limits the oxygen content.

These systems have been designed to ensure rapid crucible replacement , to avoid cross-contamination , are easy to clean and easy to use.
