Double rolling mill with fixed and variable speed

The Lafil series double rolling mills are particularly suitable for processing metals and non-ferrous alloys. Their small size allows them to be installed in small workshops and laboratories.

The rolling mills mount two different pairs of cylinders:

smooth cylinders for sheet metal processing

shaped cylinders for wire processing and roulette

The base is made of metal carpentry covered by two plastic polymer shells which, once dismantled, allow access to the transmission and the electrical system. The cylinders are made of alloy steel with high surface hardness and are supported on bushings (automatic lubrication Lafil 120) guided by sturdy columns. The cylinders are closed by a handle (removable for the parallelism register) and gears (with graduated scale for smooth cylinders) for measuring the rolled thickness.

The transmission of motion to the cylinders occurs via an electric motor combined with a reduction gear with helical gears in an oil bath. Each rolling mill has two pairs of independent joints for cylinder movement. The wire processing cylinders are extended to house a pair of three-slot rollers (included) for half-round profiles. Rollers engraved with ornamental motifs can be supplied on request. The rolling mill has adequate accident prevention guards.
